Recital at POLIN Music Festival

In Odessa, we will be joined by Alexey Botvinov. Deutsche Grammophon has just released a record of Alfred Schnitke’s music performed by Alexey and violinist Daniel Hope. However, especially for the Festival audience, this remarkable pianist will play the music by another composer, Jan Freidlin, a resident of Israel who left Odessa in the early 1990s. The Polish premiere of "Seven Landscapes" will be preceded by Phillip Glass’ BAFTA-winning suite written for the motion picture "The Hours."
