Masters of the American Songbook (SPECIAL PERFORMANCE)

New Century returns to Stanford’s Bing Concert Hall for a one-night-only appearance featuring the world premiere of a new work for piano and strings by Academy Award-winning composer Tan Dun with Ukrainian pianist Alexey Botvinov. Showcasing songs from the Great American Songbook, New Century will also perform a variety of popular classics by George Gershwin and Kurt Weill in two special arrangements for string orchestra.
