Director of the Odessa National Opera Theatre from 2009 to 2010, founder of the Odessa Classics festival, of which he is now its president and artistic director, Alexey Botvinov is one of the greatest Ukrainian musicians of our time, with a fascinating career spanning recordings with the greatest orchestras and concerts in the most beautiful halls in Europe. Since the beginning of the war, he has lived in exile in Switzerland. A specialist in Romantic music, he will perform works by Brahms, Chopin, Silvestrov, and Rachmaninoff during this evening.
